Job summary

Astrix, a medical device manufacturer, is seeking a Production/Assembly Technician to build high-quality devices in accordance with approved instructions and SOPs. This onsite role in Santa Rosa, CA supports manufacturing line operations and process improvement.

The 6-month contract offers a 4/10 schedule with overtime on Fridays; compensation is $22–$24 per hour. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least one year of manufacturing experience (medical device experience preferred), and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience; medical device experience preferred.
• Experience working with small components, adhesives, and microscopes.
• Experience working within a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety rules, stretching exercises, and company policies and procedures.
• Assemble product utilizing small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures.
• Identify and communicate safety, quality, or process issues as needed.
• Maintain controlled environment integrity through proper attire and adherence to cleanroom practices and procedures.
• Perform in-process quality checks and provide timely feedback as issues arise.
• Recognize and report unacceptable materials or sub-assemblies to engineering and/or supervisor.
• Understand and comply with GMP and GDP guidelines.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvements.
• Participate in lean activities and 5S improvement efforts.

A medical device manufacturer is seeking a Production/Assembly Technician to build high-quality medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing process instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. This role assists in evaluating and resolving line issues, contributes process improvement suggestions, and performs a variety of assigned production duties.

Location: Onsite in Santa Rosa, CA | Type: 6-month contract with possibility for conversion or extension | Hours: Monday-Thursday: 5am-3:30pm 4/10 site schedule. OT available on Friday - 5am-1:30pm. Compensation: $22-24/hr
