MedSpeed in Austin, TX is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver to join our healthcare logistics team. You will spend most of your day driving a company vehicle, transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials, while upholding safety and customer service standards.

The shift runs Monday through Friday, 12:30 pm to 10:00 pm, with a range of responsibilities from route execution to using a handheld scanner, performing pre/post-trip checks,

Formación

• Must be 19+ with an active driver’s license for 3+ years.
• Able to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent driving history / clean MVR required.
• Familiarity with using handheld scanning devices.
• Comfortable working with varying routes and schedules.

Responsabilidades

• Safely drive company vehicles to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat vehicle.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
• Load and unload cargo and ensure proper handling of items.
