Job summary

MedSpeed is hiring a part-time Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Halethorpe, MD to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and supplies. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM–7:45 PM with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour.

The role requires a 19+ age, a valid driver’s license for 3+ years, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the ability to complete pre/post-trip checks. Background and drug screening are part of the employment process.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years old with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology and scanning devices.
• Able to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, and supplies.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items and follow routes as assigned.
• Demonstrate safe driving and teamwork with colleagues.
