Job summary

MedSpeed is hiring a Flex Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Sioux Falls. The role involves driving a company vehicle Monday–Friday, 12:00pm–8:30pm, delivering lab specimens and medical materials, and using a handheld scanner to track items.

You’ll follow schedules, maintain vehicle safety, and interact professionally with clients. The position requires 19+ with a valid driver’s license for 3+ years, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and a dependable work ethic.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ with an active driver’s license for 3+ years.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology and handheld scanners.
• Ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Drive a non-commercial vehicle in varying weather and traffic conditions.
• Must have an excellent driving history.
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination depending on location and local mandates.
• Ability to lift items from storage racks.
• Comfortable walking long distances and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies and related materials.
• Operate a handheld scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat vehicle.
• Route duties vary based on client needs and may change over time.
• Demonstrate teamwork and adaptability with teammates and clients.
• Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
