Job summary

MedSpeed in Tacoma, WA is hiring a Medical Driver for a full-time evening shift (4:00 pm – 12:30 am). You will drive a company vehicle, transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license for 3+ years, and a clean driving history. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, strong customer service, and the ability to pass drug screens. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active driver’s license for 3+ years.
• Excellent driving history.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must pass initial and random drug/alcohol screens.
• COVID-19 vaccination proof depending on location.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to walk/stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials.
• Load and unload the vehicle with required equipment.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items.
• Follow operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to support operations.
• Contribute to a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
