Job summary

MedSpeed is hiring a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Pittsburgh, PA. This part-time role involves transporting medical supplies in a company vehicle, with a fixed schedule of Monday–Wednesday, 8:30am–4:30pm, and a starting pay of $17.00 per hour.

You will operate a hand-held scanner, follow strict safety and procedural guidelines, and maintain a professional image while serving clients across healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19+ with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Must pass initial and random drug and alcohol screen.
• Excellent driving history.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, X-rays and related materials in a company vehicle.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe company policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain the vehicle in clean condition.
• Route assignments may change and must be adaptable to client and business needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration with teammates and clients.
• Contribute to a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
