Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Medical Courier in Tucker, GA, with weekend and weekday evening shifts. You will deliver medical specimens and lab materials on a scheduled route, communicating with clinical staff and handling specimens properly to support critical diagnostics.

You’ll operate a non‑CDL vehicle, use scanners and routing apps, and maintain compliance with DOT/HIPAA/OSHA standards. A valid license and customer‑facing skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with 3+ years driving experience and clean MVR with ≤2 moving violations in the last 36 months.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stay on the move through most of the shift.
• Experience in medical courier, healthcare logistics, or similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens and lab materials on a scheduled route.
• Communicate professionally with doctors, nurses, and lab staff to ensure timely deliveries.
• Safely operate a company‑provided vehicle (non‑CDL).
• Use handheld scanners, routing software, and mobile apps to track deliveries.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, storage, and documentation.
• Comply with DOT, HIPAA, OSHA, and internal safety standards.
