Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc is seeking a Medical Courier for Columbus, GA, Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM. You will pick up and deliver medical specimens and lab materials on a scheduled route, communicating with clinicians to ensure timely results.

You’ll operate a company vehicle, use scanners and software, and maintain strict safety and handling protocols. The role requires a valid driver's license, clean MVR, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with driving record meeting company standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on the road.
• Comfort with mobile devices and scanning tools.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stay on the move during shifts.
• Prior medical, courier, or logistics experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pickup, transport, and deliver medical specimens on a scheduled route.
• Communicate professionally with doctors, nurses, and lab staff to ensure timely deliveries.
• Safely operate a company-provided vehicle (non-CDL).
• Use scanners, route software, and mobile apps to track deliveries.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, storage, and documentation.
• Comply with DOT, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards.
