• Completion of 9th grade

• Knowledge of medical terminology and customer service experience may be preferred

Responsibilities

• Verify specimens picked up at various locations and transport at correct temperatures
• Maintain temperature ranges for frozen, ambient, incubated, and refrigerated specimens
• Deliver mail and materials to clients daily
• Fill client supply orders with 24-hour turn-around for consumables and 48-hour for printed material
• Enforce specimen acceptance policy by confirming patient ID on specimens and requisitions
• Create and maintain route sheets with stops, mileage, and times
• Assist with new hire training, safety, and procedures
