Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Service Representative/Courier to join our team in San Diego, CA. You will be responsible for pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens and lab supplies, utilizing a company vehicle and maintaining high levels of client service.

Strong emphasis on safety, punctuality, and independent work. The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility for varying hours from Thursday through Monday.

Qualifications

• No experience or education required is listed as minimum, but preferred qualifications mention a High School Diploma and driving experience.
• 6 months or more experience as driver or medical courier is preferred.
• 6 months or more experience in Customer service is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Cover routes in the San Diego County.
• Load supplies for daily pickups and complete the schedule promptly.
• Deliver daily picks to the branch at end of shift.
• Handle specimens and lab samples safely.
• Operate company vehicle and follow traffic laws.
• Use handheld device to manage pickups and coordinate with dispatcher.
• Assess traffic, routes, and weather for efficient planning.
