Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Must be able to lift materials up to 35 lbs independently.
• Warehousing experience for storage and inventory tasks is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology used in hospital settings.
• Basic computer skills: word processing, email, spreadsheets.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Transport case material between operational locations.
• Load and unload clinical materials, messages, documents, packages, and mail from delivery vehicles.
• Maintain materials accountability and assist in survey/disposition of excess materials and equipment.
• Move materials within storage facilities to optimize space utilization.
• Provide quality customer service to staff and contributors.
• Acknowledge and record receipt of specimens in the tracking system by accession number.
• Enter transfers in the tracking system and forward to requester.
• Maintain stock records and reports; support other department tasks as needed.
