Job summary

Labcorp in Wayne, NJ is seeking a Courier II to support our logistics team. This role handles daily pickups, deliveries, and on-route support with a focus on safety and accuracy. You will operate a company vehicle, cover routes as needed, and use handheld devices to manage pickups.

The position requires a valid license, punctuality, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Pay range is $18.00-$22.00 per hour, with potential for weekend shifts and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of driver or courier experience.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Act as a floater for the logistics team providing coverage for routes.
• Provide on-route training for new couriers/drivers.
• Assist with dispatch and pickups when needed.
• Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickups.
• Complete daily pick-up schedule in a timely manner.
• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift.
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner.
• Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws.
• Utilize handheld device to manage daily pickups.
• Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed.
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed.

Labcorp is seeking a Courier II to join our team in Wayne, NJ

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday 2:00pm – 10:30pm; ability to cover 1st and 3rd shift and weekends as needed

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years or more experience of driver or courier experience

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1 years or more of Customer service experience

In this position, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies and reports, while providing excellent service to our clients.

Included with this position is a company vehicle to use for the route. In addition, for only $125 per month, you will have the option of taking this vehicle home with you and using it for personal use.

• Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
