Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Courier to join our team in Lincoln, NE. The role involves loading supplies, completing daily pickup schedules, delivering pickups to the branch, and safely handling specimens.

You will operate a company vehicle and use handheld devices for route management, coordinating with a dispatcher for additional pickups. Ideal candidates have strong time management, attention to detail, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: No experience or education required.
• Preferred qualifications: Labcorp experience preferred.
• 2+ years courier or route-based delivery experience in medical/lab setting.
• 1+ year handling medical specimens or supporting hospital operations.
• 2+ years using handheld devices or route optimization tools (scanners, GPS routing, dispatch apps).

Responsibilities

Labcorp is seeking a Courier to join our team in Lincoln, NE

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:30pm - 9:30pm

Job Responsibilities

• Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickups
• Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner
• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner.
• Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up
• Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• No experience or education required

Preferred Qualifications

• Current or Prior Labcorp experience
• 2 or more years of professional courier or route‑based delivery experience within a medical or laboratory company.
• 1 or more years of experience handling medical specimens or supporting hospital / laboratory operations
• 2 or more years of experience using handheld delivery‑management devices or route optimization tools, such as scanners, GPS‑based routing software, or dispatch applications

Additional Job Standards

• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Be 21 years of age or older
• Punctual with strong time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Customer service experience
• Ability to problem solve customer issues
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Included with this position is a company vehicle to use for the route. In addition, for only $125 per month, you will have the option of taking this vehicle home with you and using it for personal use.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
