Job summary

Labcorp in Springfield, MO seeks a Courier for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 5:30pm–2:00am) with a 10% shift differential. You will load daily supplies, execute pickups, deliver to the branch, and handle specimens safely while adhering to traffic laws. Company vehicle provided with optional personal use for a monthly fee.

No formal experience is required, but preferred candidates may have prior lab or courier roles and comfort using handheld devices for route management.

Labcorp is seeking a Courier to join our team in Springfield, MO 65804

Work Schedule: 2nd shift; Monday - Friday 5:30pm - 2:00am

Job Responsibilities

• Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickups

Minimum Qualifications

• No experience or education required

Preferred Qualifications

• Current or Prior Labcorp experience
• 2 or more years of professional courier or route‑based delivery experience within a medical or laboratory company.
• 1 or more years of experience handling medical specimens or supporting hospital / laboratory operations
• 2 or more years of experience using handheld delivery‑management devices or route optimization tools, such as scanners, GPS‑based routing software, or dispatch applications

Additional Job Standards

• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Be 21 years of age or older
• Punctual with strong time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Customer service experience
• Ability to problem solve customer issues
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Included with this position is a company vehicle to use for the route. In addition, for only $125 per month, you will have the option of taking this vehicle home with you and using it for personal use.

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
