Labcorp seeks a Service Representative/Courier in Anchorage, Alaska. The role involves pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens and lab supplies, ensuring timely and accurate service to clients across the Anchorage area.

You will operate a company vehicle, follow routes, and maintain safety standards while working with supervisory staff to manage daily workloads. Requirements include a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Previous driver/courier experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Very punctual with strong time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to problem-solve customer issues.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports in Anchorage while providing excellent service.
• Load all necessary supplies for daily pickups.
• Complete and follow daily pickup schedule.
• Deliver daily picks to the branch at end of shift.
• Pickup and deliver specimens from clients in Anchorage.
• Handle specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently.
• Operate a company vehicle and follow traffic laws.
• Use handheld device to manage daily pickups.
• Coordinate extra pickups with supervisor/dispatcher as needed.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, 10am and 6:30pm (overtime may be required)

Benefits

• Included with this position is a company vehicle to use for the route.
• In addition, for only $120 per month, you will have the option of taking this vehicle home with you for personal use.
• If you choose to use the company vehicle for personal use, all gas and maintenance are covered by the company.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports in Anchorage while providing excellent service to our clients.

• Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickups
• Complete daily pick-up schedule in a timely manner
• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift
• Pickup and deliver all specimens from clients in Anchorage Alaska
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner
• Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up
• Work directly with the supervisor and dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous driver/courier experience is preferred
• Customer service experience is plus
• Must have a Valid Driver's License
• Must be at least 21 years old
