Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Meet and maintain all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards applicable to this position.
• Generate, decipher, and correct medical documentation for proper documentation methods in accordance with federal guidelines.
• Validate completion of clinic duties in compliance with federal guidelines and program protocols via daily audits of Portal documentation.
• Assist with procedures, operate medical equipment, administer vaccines, medications and treatments ordered by the medical provider, monitor for side effects and reactions, and provide teaching to patients and staff.
• Validate systems of records for required facility documentation and reporting to meet guidelines within required timeframes.
• Communicate with Lead Medical Coordinator and Regional Director on policy and procedure issues affecting care quality.
• Participate in development of health and medical protocols and procedures for federal programs.
• Maintain complete and confidential health care records in keeping with PHI and Compass Connections confidentiality protocols.
• Know signs of abuse, neglect, exploitation and respond with professional procedures.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize daily work using sound judgment.

Effectively communicate, consult, and interact with the Lead Medical Coordinator and Regional Director on policy and procedure issues affecting the quality of health care services on campus. 7. Participate in the development of health and medical related protocols and procedures for federal program. 8. Participate in scheduled meetings, team decisions and operations. This includes ensuring appropriate communication of health needs to case managers and clinicians, scheduling health-care appointments, coordinating transportation to health-care appointments, ensuring qualified interpretation and translation services are in place, and serving as a liaison for community health-care providers. 9. Maintain complete and confidential health care records and information in keeping with information privacy and Protected Health Information (PHI) requirements and Compass Connections confidentiality protocol and procedures. 10. Know and recognize the signs of abuse, neglect, and exploitation and sexually provocative behavior and implement professional response, reporting and documenting procedures. 11. Plan, organize, and prioritize daily work using sound judgment. 12. Knowledge of Compass Connections safety protocols including evacuating with children and other staff in case of an emergency. 13. Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population and program operations. 14. Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in Compass Connections employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times.**Other Responsibilities:**1. Collect, enter, and ensure documentation for medical staff at designated site(s), to ensure all required duties meet or exceed program guidelines and best practices established by State and Federal partners. 2. Supervise and coordinate, on occasion, medical staff to perform clinic duties as directed by Lead Medical Coordinator, as well as perform clinic duties as needed. 3. At designated site(s), direct, and train medical staff, and coordinate services, following federal, state, and Compass Connections established policies, procedures, and guidelines. 4. Monitor established health care plans for service population at the site(s) within the timeframe established by our State and Federal partners. 5. Ensure accurate documentation for designated site(s) in accordance with agency policies and procedures, contract and regulatory requirements and standards and program timeline requirements. 6. Meet all program and federal partners’ documentation and processes requirements. 7. Other duties as assigned.**Requirements:**1.
