Job summary

Travis Air Force Base, California hosts this permanent, full-time Contracting Officer Representative (COR) role under the Department of Defense. Telework is not available. Salary ranges from $77,161 to $100,315 per year, with locality pay included.

Qualifications

One year of specialized experience which includes administering contractual agreements of services; participating in procurement activities of contracts; and utilizing an automated system to track contracts.

Responsibilities

Serve as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for personal/non personal, medical services and support contracts.
Plan, prepare and coordinate contract service requirements and establishes medical and non-medical, personal and non-personal service contracts.
Responsible for purchasing/procuring new and/or one-time service requests initiated by medical group personnel.
Monitor contract and contractor performance to assure compliance with contract requirements and manages and maintains all contract records.
Perform thorough market research, develops realistic government cost estimates, and develops all documents required to obtain required services.
Prepare and coordinate medical requirements for contract services and other commodities, for the Medical Treatment Network.
Utilize automated system, and other financial, reporting, and management systems for formal contract requests.
