Xeris Pharmaceuticals Inc. is seeking a motivated intern to join the Medical Communications team within Medical Affairs in Chicago.

The internship provides hands-on experience in Medical Review with exposure to Medical Information, Publications, and related medical communications projects over a 10‑week period. Ideal candidates are in the latter years of healthcare doctorate programs, with strong written and verbal communication skills, and a willingness to work onsite.

Aufgaben

• Medical Review: evaluate materials for scientific accuracy and consistency with references and standards
• Attend cross-functional review meetings with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory teams
• Contribute to process improvement, training materials, and knowledge management in Medical Affairs
• Support day-to-day operations of the team
• Support development and maintenance of Medical Information responses and related resources
• Conduct literature searches, data extraction, and evidence summaries to respond to inquiries
• Identify and document potential adverse events or product quality concerns
• Assist with publications and medical communications projects
• Shadow and collaborate with cross-functional partners across Medical Affairs
• Prepare a comprehensive internship review at program end
