What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Review hospital service data to assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for billing
• Travel to hospitals to pick up physician encounter data

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in healthcare billing and coding
• Professional Billing Coding certification (CPC, CCS-P) required
• Knowledge of medical coding and billing national standards, including CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and CDT codes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
