Qualifications

• Successful completion of coding courses in anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
• 1 year of experience in Hospital and/or Physician Coding.
• Certification as RHIT, RHIA, CCS-P, CCA, CPC, or COC.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret medical information and treatment plans.
• Abstract data elements to satisfy requests.
• Manage medical information and cash flow as it pertains to unbilled coding.
