Qualifications
Successful completion of coding courses in anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
1 year of experience in Hospital and/or Physician Coding.
Certification as RHIT, RHIA, CCS-P, CCA, CPC, or COC.
Responsibilities
Review and interpret medical information and treatment plans.
Abstract data elements to satisfy requests.
Manage medical information and cash flow as it pertains to unbilled coding.
