Florida Doctors Group is seeking an experienced Medical Coding Specialist with strong managed care background to join our team in Miami, FL. The role requires meticulous coding across ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS, ensuring accuracy for payer requirements and CMS standards.

You will review records, support risk adjustment, quality initiatives, and utilization review, while collaborating with clinical and administrative staff to resolve coding issues.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
• Experience with managed care plans including Medicare Advantage and other payer models.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to review medical records and apply appropriate coding.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and coding software.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review, assign, and validate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes in accordance with coding guidelines and managed care requirements.
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with payer, CMS, and regulatory standards.
• Support managed care processes, including risk adjustment, quality initiatives, and utilization review.
