Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
• Certified coding credentials required (CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or CPC-H).
• Three years of E/M or surgical coding experience with reimbursement activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic coding communication and education plans with target audiences and training methods.
• Create content-specific and competency-based educational deliverables with business unit resources.
• Produce presentations, learning materials, handbooks and training content.
• Lead training sessions on current billing and coding information.
• Mentor physicians and provide feedback to vendors to improve performance.
• Advise Physician Group and Revenue Cycle on coding and documentation principles.
• Deliver training to leadership and end-users via multiple formats and manage materials.
• Review coding questions and perform chart audits.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to RESPECT standards.
