Respond to or clarify internal requests for medical information. Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation. Required Qualifications

• High school graduate
• CPC, CCS, CRC required
• 2 years medical coding experience
• Experience interpreting medical records; electronic and paper
• Experience working with physicians regarding coding requirements
• Knowledge of CPT/HPCS and ICD9/ICD10 coding
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Knowledge of medical documentation and requirements
• Excellent typing and 10-key speed and accuracy
• Commitment to high level of customer service
• Previous experience in operation of office machinery including copier, fax, computer and printer
• Proficiency in Microsoft products

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Pay Range: $40,000 - $52,300 per year. The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
