Job description

This is a contract remote role for a Medical Coding Auditor at Advize. The Medical Coding Auditor will be responsible for performing verification of charges, reviewing claims, generating preliminary audit results, collaborating with clients, and creating audit reports.

Responsibilities

We are seeking to fill additional roles on our medical record review team. Candidates must have the following documented background/experience. If your resume does not reflect the requirements below, we will not be able to consider you for the role:

This is a full-time role.

  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) or similar (minimum of two years experience)
  • This is ProFee auditing role. Those with extensive HCC experience will not be considered
  • Reside in the US and have employment eligibility (we are not sponsoring for employment)
  • Experience using NCD/LCD/LCA to make medical necessity determinations and documenting findings
  • Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS as it relates to professional fee services
  • Behavioral Health experience documented on your resume is mandatory
  • Knowledge of Medicaid policies rules a plus
