Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant medical office/billing experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook; accurate data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter medical claim information into databases accurately and timely.
• Verify claims in anesthesia, COB, and special batches; audit fields for accuracy.
• Process mail: sort, track, and log daily mail per policy.
• Identify missing information and correct or flag inconsistencies in claims.
• Enter data for envelopes, labels, form letters, and correspondence.
• Maintain records of all incoming/outgoing documents and claims.
