Position: Medical Center Representatives

Job Overview

We are seeking a full-time Medical Center Representative to join our front office team at our Centerville location. The role involves check-in and check-out duties, with a schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Hours may vary based on office needs.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors professionally.
  • Schedule appointments and manage medical records.
  • Perform clerical duties, including mailing, scanning, and updating patient information.
  • Open and close the office according to procedures.
  • Maintain waiting area cleanliness and monitor office operations.
  • Handle postage, certified mail, packages, and document scanning into EMR.
  • Assist with billing, collections, and reconciliation of payments.
  • Understand insurance policies, update insurance information, and register new patients.
  • Collect necessary documentation and explain post-visit care instructions.
  • Schedule referrals and testing appointments as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range is $15.00 to $22.50 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience. Benefits include employer-paid life and short-term disability insurance, health, dental, and vision coverage, and optional additional insurance plans. Paid Time Off begins accruing on the first day, with 96 hours in the first year, increasing with tenure.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prior medical office experience preferred.
