Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Case Reviewer/Analyst to join a dynamic team in Florida. This role involves a thorough examination of medical and legal documentation to develop comprehensive medical chronologies. The ideal candidate will collaborate with physicians and other team members to ensure a high-quality work product, contributing to an essential service in the healthcare and legal sectors.

Responsibilities

Review medical and legal documentation/records to develop medical chronologies and provide written case summaries and analysis.
Extract and analyze complex medical data and evaluate the appropriateness of treatments provided.
Assist with refining and improving processes associated with reviewing cases and audit work of other team members.
Collaborate with team members, physicians, and clients to develop a high-quality work product.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing with an active nursing license.
Proficiency with using a computer, Microsoft Word, and Google; excellent typing skills and ability to navigate various software programs.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medications, and a good understanding of common procedures/surgeries.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to consistently meet deadlines and produce high-quality work.
Team player with strong communication skills and a commitment to quality improvement.
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and a willingness to continually learn new medical knowledge and concepts.
Ability to stand/sit for long durations daily.
Prior experience in ER, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Neurology, or surgery is a plus, as is experience with utilization review, medical chronologies, or legal experience.
