Job summary

MedSpeed is hiring a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver to operate a 26-foot box truck in Tallahassee, FL. The role runs Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, at $16.00/hr, with a DOT medical certification requirement and a pre-employment drug screen.

The position supports healthcare logistics, handling lab specimens and medical materials while maintaining safety and professional client interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
• DOT Medical Certification or ability to obtain.
• Drug screen required.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related items.
• Operate a straight/non-CDL box truck on varied roads and weather.
• Use a hand-held scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Follow company policies, procedures and schedules.
• Maintain a professional image with clients and the public.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and keep vehicle clean and orderly.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to support MedSpeed goals.
• Contribute to a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
