Job summary

MedSpeed in Mansfield, OH is hiring a Box Truck Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday, 5:15 AM–3:00 PM, driving a 26-foot box truck to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials.

A valid DOT medical certification or ability to obtain one is required, and a drug screen is mandatory. MedSpeed delivers health with a nationwide presence and a culture focused on teamwork, integrity, and growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid DOT Medical Certification or be able to obtain one.
• Drug screening is required.
• Box truck driving experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, sterile processing instrumentation, healthcare linens and related material.
• Drive a non-CDL Commercial Motor Vehicle (straight truck) on shift across various roads and weather conditions.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to accurately track items through the transportation cycle.
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
• Conduct pre/post trip vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean and orderly.
• Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation and adaptability with teammates and clients.
• Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
