You will review claims from filing through payment resolution, post payments, manage denials and appeals, verify eligibility, and ensure HIPAA compliance while coordinating with billing managers and SNF clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with medical billing for laboratory services is preferred.
• Strong understanding of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding.
• Familiarity with Medicare Part A vs Part B billing and SNF workflows.

Responsibilities

• Review and submit insurance claims for laboratory services (blood, microbiology, toxicology).
• Apply CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 codes accurately per payer rules.
• Differentiate Medicare Part A vs Part B billing and manage SNF billing.
• Verify eligibility and benefits prior to billing; process denials and appeals.
