Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a healthcare billing/support professional to join our team. The role involves guiding patients to the exam room, documenting medical histories, and coordinating with providers on tests and procedures.

You will handle phone communications, ensure accurate entry into EMR, and maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records. Ideal candidates will have two years in medical billing or related fields or hold a certified billing credential (CPC/CPB/RHIT/CCS, etc.).

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or related field (or equivalent certification).
• Epic or similar EMR experience preferred.
• Knowledge of UB-04 and CMS-1500 claim forms.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Shows patients to the examination room and prepares them for the provider.
• Records patients' medical history, vaccine status, vitals, and medication reconciliation.
• Maintains compliance with department, clinic, and state/federal regulations.
• Answers and directs calls; documents messages in EMR.
• Assists providers with tests/procedures and aids in patient care planning.
