A technology and staffing firm is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist adept at handling denials management. In this role, you'll investigate denied claims, identify root causes, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues. A successful candidate will have at least 6 months of experience in denials management, strong Excel skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with payer contacts. This is a fully remote position with competitive hourly pay.
We are seeking a highly analytical and relationship-driven Medical Billing Specialist with a focus on denials management. This is not your typical denials role - we're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, Excel-heavy environment and can think critically to resolve complex billing issues.
Unlike traditional billing workflows, we do not bill on CPT codes. Instead, we operate on a flat-rate per use model, which means most of your work will be done in Google Sheets/Excel, not in an EMR.
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
