Job summary

AuthoraCare Collective is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist who is organized, detail oriented and a great communicator. The role covers all areas of revenue cycle management, including timely processing, researching denied claims, and posting payments and adjustments across multiple billing systems.

You will escalate unresolved issues promptly and help minimize future problems. Reporting to the Manager of Revenue Cycle, you will work with the team to ensure claims are billed and collected on

Qualifications

• Experience with revenue cycle management.
• Ability to research and resolve denied claims.
• Experience with medical billing software and payer portals.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end billing and posting of payments/adjustments.
• Research and resolve denied claims and rebill as needed.
• Escalate unresolved issues promptly and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle team to ensure timely billing and collection.

Job Summary

The Medical Billing Specialist is organized, detail oriented, and a great communicator. The Medical Billing Specialist is responsible for all areas of revenue cycle management including but not limited to timely processing, researching denied claims, and posting appropriate payment and adjustments using multiple billing software. Escalates unresolved issues appropriately, quickly, and recommends solutions to minimize future problems. Reporting to the Manager of Revenue Cycle, this position works closely with all team members involved in the revenue cycle to ensure claims are billed and collected in a timely manner.
