Medical Billing – Revenue Cycle – Trip Intake – Data Entry Representative (Part-Time)

Hourly Pay: $16/hr

Location: Remote or On-Site

Training and Work Schedule: Mo-Fr, 5 hrs/day between 8am and 5pm Central

Part-Time: 25 hrs/wk, overtime as required up to 29 hrs/wk

Job Summary

The Medical Billing Revenue Cycle Trip Intake Data Entry Representative works within the Trip Intake Team to enter the base rate, loaded miles, and wait time charges into the Billing System.

Essential Functions/Duties

1. Apply appropriate base rate mileage charges into billing system
2. Apply appropriate wait time charges to billing system
3. Accurately assign account to next department
4. Ensure all accounts are processed correctly for timely distribution
5. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Experience:

• Six (6) months data entry experience
• Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
• Basic skills in Microsoft Excel, including sum functions
• Experience downloading documents from websites and accessing downloaded files
• Ability to document steps taken in the billing system
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and accurately apply data entry steps

Preferred Education:

• High school diploma or GED
• Relevant work experience
