We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller/Collector for a data-focused role in Newbury Park, CA. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys accurate administrative work, Excel-based reporting, healthcare-related documentation, and supporting a busy collections department without heavy phone work.

The Medical Biller/Collector will focus on pulling prescription balance data, preparing Excel spreadsheets, sending information to attorneys by fax, and updating records in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional experience preferred.
• Strong Word, Excel and Outlook skills required.
• Accurate data entry with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential healthcare and claims data with HIPAA compliance.
• Must complete Microsoft Word, Excel and typing assessments prior to starting.

Responsabilités

• Pull balance-due information for prescriptions related to Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury claims using Salesforce data.
• Save and organize claim balance information in Excel for attorney review.
• Send Excel spreadsheets and cover sheets to attorneys by fax.
• Update Salesforce records to show documentation was sent to the attorney.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant, accurate records and assist with high-volume data entry and reporting.
