San Luis Valley Health is seeking a full-time Medical Billing & Collections Specialist to join our team in Alamosa, CO. This role focuses on submitting clean claims to payers to ensure accurate payments for services rendered.

• Maintain current knowledge of billing for third party payers' if/when workers' compensation is denied.
• Verify payments are paid according to contract of payer, including state fee schedule.
• Enter all account information such as telephone calls from insurance, patient, correspondence or any other form of communication into billing account.
