Qualifications

• Technician I requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Technician II requires a Medical Billing and Coding Certificate or related certification.
• Technician III requires an Associate’s Degree or higher in Business Administration or Hospital Administration or related field.

Responsabilités

• Process and oversee billing functions to ensure claims are filed timely with third party payers.
• Code using CPT/HCPCS guidelines and coordinate with Compliance Office and Insurance Institutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer billing rules and guidelines.
• Complete job-specific training and pass background and fingerprint checks as required.
