The role emphasizes collaboration with Medical Center Operations, Coding, and Compliance, maintaining confidentiality, and adapting to change in a growing national network of communities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of coding and medical billing experience.
• Podiatry specialty preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.
• Familiar with payer guidelines and denials processes.

Responsibilities

• Review claims for coding and billing accuracy and perform insurance follow-up.
• Investigate payer denials and discrepancies; initiate appeals with supporting documents.
• Process cash postings, adjustments, refunds, and credit balances.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and regulatory guidelines.
• Document account activity to support accounts receivable management.
• Collaborate with Medical Center Operations, Coding and Compliance while maintaining confidentiality.
