Job summary

Valetudo is seeking an experienced Medical Billing Coder to support a physician practice and specialty clinic offering multi-specialty care, psychiatry, therapy, and ABA services. The role reports to the Billing Manager and focuses on accurate coding, billing, claims processing, and follow-up.

Responsibilities include submitting claims, verifying benefits, posting payments, reconciling denials, and performing audits to ensure compliant, timely billing across diverse services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in medical billing and coding.
• Certificate or diploma in Medical Billing and Coding.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification.
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding.
• Experience with medical claims processing and medical billing software.
• Experience with insurance verification.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
