This position has the ability to work remotely on either a part- or full-time basis as determined by MMG leadership.

Position Summary

Responsible for processing and submitting claims to insurance companies, verifying insurance coverage, and collecting and posting payments from patients and insurances. Verifies that transactions comply with department policies, procedures, and all applicable government and insurer regulations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Prepares bills and invoices for medical services.
• Verifies accuracy of billing data and resolves errors.
• Obtains insurance and financial information from patients.
• Obtains medical authorization for payment from insurers.
• Updates records with payments from insurance providers and patients.

Minimum Requirements
