About the Role

Nevada Pediatric Specialists is hiring a Medical Biller to manage claims, follow‑up, and patient account resolution in a high‑volume growing pediatric practice. This role is responsible for working accounts receivable, resolving denials, and ensuring accurate claim processing in alignment with internal workflows and payer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Work A/R follow‑up (denials, rejections, unpaid claims)
• Review and interpret EOBs/ERAs for accurate posting and next steps
• Submit and track appeals and corrected claims
• Resolve COB issues and insurance discrepancies
• Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding claims
• Support patient balance resolution and payment plan processes for collection management
• Handle billing phone calls and provide professional patient support

Role requires strong understanding of EOBs, payer responses, and accurate follow‑up actions to prevent missed revenue and errors

Requirements

• 1+ year medical billing experience (required)
• Experience with:
  • Medicaid & MCOs (required)
  • Commercial/private insurance
• Strong knowledge of:
  • A/R follow‑up, denials, and appeals
  • Insurance eligibility and claim resolution
• Experience working in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment

Preferred

• eClinicalWorks (eCW)highly preferred
  • (EMR/EHR experience required if no eCW)
• In‑person position only – no remote work
• Must demonstrate ability to:
  • Work A/R independently and consistently
  • Identify and resolve claim issues without delay
