Job summary

AAPC is seeking a Medical Biller for a busy cardiology practice. The ideal candidate will have solid medical billing and revenue-cycle experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced specialty setting.

Responsibilities include submitting and following up on claims, handling denials and appeals, verifying insurance, posting payments, and improving revenue-cycle workflows. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of medical billing experience preferred.
• Cardiology billing experience strongly preferred.
• CPC or AHIMA Certification strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, modifiers, and medical terminology.
• Experience working denials and A/R.
• Knowledge of Medicare and commercial insurance billing.
• Experience with cardiology services such as office visits, EKGs, echocardiograms, stress testing, monitors, cardiac procedures, and hospital billing is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively as part of a team.

Position

Full-Time - Monday through Friday No weekends
