PDS Health is seeking a billing professional to ensure accurate and timely physician claim submissions. The role involves interaction with Government and Commercial payers and collaboration with the Revenue Operations team.

Responsibilities include validating claims, correcting re-submissions, handling denials and appeals, and following up to secure timely reimbursements. Epic/Relay experience is preferred, with strong MS Office skills and a customer‑minded approach.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in hospital or physician billing preferred.

• Corrects and resubmits claims as needed if rejected by the Clearinghouse.
• Acts as a liaison between Revenue Operations (Business Office) and payers to resolve billing and reimbursement accuracy.
• Processes denials and prepares appeals with appropriate documentation.
• Follows up on outstanding claims for timely reimbursement.
• Monitors and maintains appropriate volumes of assigned account inventory.
• Files and follows up on Third Party medical claims.
• Collaborates with other departments and physician practices to ensure accuracy of claims information.
• Processes ERAs/EOBs for posting of adjustments on accounts.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• +1 year experience in hospital or physician billing

• Epic and Relay experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Strong computer skills and demonstrated competence in MS Office, Word, Excel software applications.
• Familiarity with Commercial payor, Medicare, and Medicaid rules and regulations.
• Ability to multi-task effectively without compromising the quality of the work.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong sense of personal responsibility for tasks assigned; ability to work with others & accept direction.
• Self-motivated, reliable individual capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

Compensation Information

$18.60-$24.40 / Hourly
