Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Use Electronic Medical Records to reconcile insurance payments
• Manage Accounts Receivable and medical billing
• Help patients understand Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
• Print and process Worker’s Compensation and auto claims
• Post insurance payments via paper and electronic methods (EMR)
• Explain EOBs to patients as needed

Required Skills and Certifications

• High School diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of Medical Accounts Receivable/Medical Billing experience
• Proficiency with online insurance portals and EMR systems
• Excellent communication skills; friendly personality
• Experience with EOBs and payment posting preferred
