Medical Bill Review Specialist (Remote)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Bill Review Specialist to support accurate and efficient processing of healthcare claims. This fully remote position plays a key role in maintaining compliance with fee schedules and client-specific billing rules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and evaluate incoming medical bills to ensure alignment with applicable state fee schedules, contractual discounts, and client-specific guidelines
  • Enter and audit billing data using internal systems with a strong focus on precision
  • Reference billing manuals and documentation as needed to validate accuracy
  • Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and billing procedures, particularly in the workers’ compensation space
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues independently or collaboratively
  • Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data entry platforms

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant data entry experience
