The Medical Assistant supports healthcare delivery by greeting patients, assisting with procedures, and performing administrative tasks to ensure smooth patient flow. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Greeting and identifying patients, completing forms, preparing charts, and updating electronic medical records.
  2. Assisting nursing, physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and other clinical staff.

Qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
  • Graduate from a medical assistant program (Preferred).
  • 2 years of experience in a medical setting (Preferred).
  • Certifications: CCMA, CMA, or RMA (Required); BLS (Required); NPA-CPT (Preferred).

Note: Certified Phlebotomist Techs must be certified through the National Phlebotomy Association. Medical Assistants must be certified or registered by a recognized organization.
