Qualifications

• Medical Assisting Certificate of Achievement and 2 years field experience.
• BLS for the Healthcare Provider certification.
• RMA, CMA, CCMA, NCMA or CMAC preferred.
• Degrees must be from accredited institutions, with non-U.S. equivalence recognized.
• Instructors must hold required certificates, licenses, and registrations for the courses they teach.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret materials related to area of expertise.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Basic calculations for course material and assessments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and course delivery software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lessons and materials aligned with curriculum and accreditation.
• Deliver instruction using varied methods for diverse learners.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Provide academic advising, tutoring, and office hours.
• Participate in student orientation, clubs, and career services events.

• Document grades and attendance in required systems.
• Collaborate with departments and mentor new faculty.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Maintain equipment and facilities in good working condition.
