Job summary

Lincoln Tech in Rhode Island is seeking experienced Medical Assistants on an as-needed basis to become Instructors and help train the next generation of healthcare professionals. No teaching experience is required, as Lincoln Tech provides comprehensive training and support to ensure a smooth transition into the role of educator.

The Substitute Medical Assisting Instructor will teach using ACCSC-accredited curricula, lead hands-on medical lab sessions, and prepare students for the AMT RMA exam,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Medical Assisting.
• RMA or CMA (AAMA) preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel.
• Teaching experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Teach Medical Assisting classes using Lincoln Tech's curricula.
• Provide hands-on Medical Assisting skills training in our medical lab.
• Prepare students to take the RMA exam offered by AMT.
• Instruct students about safety and compliance.
• Encourage student growth, professionalism, and accountability.
• Support and communicate progress with students.
• Lead a motivating and engaging class.
• Prepare students for a successful career in their field.

• Lead a motivating and engaging class in a positive setting
• Prepare students for a successful career in a field of their choice
