Chemeketa Community College seeks energetic, teaching-focused candidates for a full-time, 172-day Medical Assisting and Basic Nursing Assistant Instructor position based in McMinnville, Oregon. The instructor will provide high-quality, bilingual classroom, laboratory, clinical, and community-based instruction that prepares students for employment in healthcare settings. This position supports program expansion and equitable access to healthcare workforce training throughout Chemeketa’s diverse three-county service district, with significant instructional responsibilities at the Yamhill Valley Campus, Woodburn Center, and other college locations as needed. Bilingual Spanish-English communication skills are required to support student recruitment, instruction, retention, and community engagement. Possesses a current, unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in Oregon
Equivalent of (2) two years of demonstrated experience as a registered nurse
Bilingual English/Spanish
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary requirements are met.
