Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care, with nine locations in Alabama, is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant/X-Ray Tech to join our team in Madison, AL. As an affiliate of Urgent Team, we provide quality, affordable urgent and family healthcare across the Southeast.

Job Summary

The Medical Assistant/X-ray Tech provides basic clinical care to patients, aligned with their medical education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients promptly and courteously in waiting and exam areas.
  • Communicate wait times and guide patients through treatment steps.
  • Address patient concerns and recognize emergent situations.
  • Follow up with patients as needed.
  • Assist with patient check-in/out and document vital signs, medical history, medications, and allergies.
  • Assist with patient transfers and procedures under supervision.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS Certification.
  • At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
  • Medical Assistant Certificate and ARRT certification preferred.
